About the Event

Join the Machine Perception and Cognitive Robotics Lab and the Center for the Future Mind at FAU as we discuss how advancements in artifcial life and artifcial intelligence research contribute to our understanding of the Fermi Paradox, the role of synthetic life in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, and how we can
establish a common framework for defining and detecting life and intelligence beyond Earth.

We are looking for Graduate Students or Faculty who would be interested in doing a 5-minute presentation on related research. If you are interested in presenting, or would like more conference information contact Daniel Van Zant at dvanzant2022@fau.edu.
