About this Event
This lecture by Dr. Atkins will be a retrospective analysis of the turbulent time of the 1960s, especially 1968 and the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Using clips from several notable movies as well as music and other aspects of popular culture, the lecture will examine how the events of the late 1960s left an indelible mark on our country and its values.
