Alan Taylor, two-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize, Thomas Jefferson Foundation Chair at the University of Virginia, and author of books on the American Revolution, the War of 1812, and the American Frontier, will give a public lecture about the Early Republic. A wine and cheese reception and book signing will follow the lecture. Items from the Spirit of America collection will be on display at the lecture venue. 

The lecture and reception are free for FAU students, staff, faculty and alumni. Tickets can be picked up in the Student Union Box Office or at the door.
