Have you wanted to learn how to build electronic circuits? Have you heard about Arduino or Raspberry PI and wondered how hard would it be to play with those devices? Well wonder no more! This is the 6th session of the FAU Libraries' webinar series on Arduino programming. No experience is necessary and attendees can follow along and watch live training sessions of learning to use the Arduino system. We will be using the Sparkfun Tinker Kit as our base of operations and following along the existing curriculum already provided by Sparkfun. Participants who want to actively work alongside us can purchase the same kit we will be using and follow along with us as we go step by step from unboxing the kit, setting up our environment and progressing from blinking a LED to making sounds to taking temperatures and finishing up with controlling a electric motor.
The series will be aimed at novice and intermediate users. We also welcome anyone who has children that are interested in electronics to attend as well. While we will be following the script provided by Sparkfun for the most part, there will be a few entertaining detours. Each session will end with a Q&A period.
This webinar will be hosted on Zoom. Please register to receive the link to join us: https://fau-edu.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZcoduCtrzgoGdKL_hdRHZDybjk9Sq8_bnNn
