About this Event
The seemingly unconnected stories of a baby blue whale searching for its mother, a middle-aged woman struggling with the burdens of care-giving, and an elderly man on his own for the first time in his life become intertwined and, ultimately, united. This interactive solo theatrical piece submerges the audience into a provocative and humorous journey through grief, solitude, spirituality, connection, and healing. BLUE resonates with the universal pulse we all share and inspires us to communicate clearly from our hearts to bridge large distances with others. A 25-year veteran of traditional theatre, FAU Associate Professor, Lynn McNutt is swimming in new territory for her second act, creating & performing original works that entertain and connect. Be among the very first to see this dynamic new work take shape in this first-ever workshop production. Be brave and sit in the “Splash Zone”!
