DESCRIPTION:razilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and combat sport that
  focuses mostly on grappling on the ground\, or ground fighting\, using lev
 erage and applied techniques to overwhelm and submit your opponent. It is r
 efined\, and combat tested against many styles such as Kung-Fu\, Karate\, b
 oxing\, and various other styles. Even to this day\, many fighters incorpor
 ate this style amongst their fighting arsenal due to its effectiveness as i
 t can be mixed with any fighting style that focuses on striking. Jiu Jitsu 
 is a Cumulative art\, or a style that includes influences from many differe
 nt styles and places. While mostly a grappling style\, Jiu Jitsu contains m
 any instances of striking techniques for self defense. It is great for “the
  smaller individual” that may not be as strong as the opponent they face. I
 t is also great for women as it helps them realize that they can easily pro
 tect themselves from and defeat stronger and larger opponents.\n\nATTIRE & 
 HYGIENE: This is a No Gi class\, meaning no special attire is required. All
  that we ask is that you wear a comfortable athletic t-shirt and gym shorts
 . Additionally\, please ensure you maintain good care of your nails\, as im
 proper care can be potentially hazardous to your fellow classmates.\n\nInst
