FAU CAPS: Process Groups-Older Student Understanding Self and Others

Process Groups are hosted by FAU Counseling and Psychological Services

This Process Group meets on:

Mondays from 5-6:30 P.M.

The Older Student USO group is designed for students 22 years old and above who would like to improve their relationship with themselves and others. This group is member-driven, which allows for greater flexibility, openness, and personal exploration. Common themes in this group include learning how to connect with others on deeper, more genuine levels, learning how to give and receive honest feedback, learning how and when to be vulnerable, and dealing with life changes and transitions.

Fear social interactions? Wonder how others experience you? Want to improve your listening and communication? Join a process group! Process groups are designed for students to have a safe space to share, connect, and interact with each other. Each group is facilitated by a mental health professional who helps students communicate in ways that lead to a better understanding of themselves and their peers.

Please stop by the office for Counseling and Psychological Services or call 561-297-3540 to schedule an appointment to find the right support group for you!
