FAU CAPS: Process Groups-Understanding Self and Others

Process Groups are hosted by FAU Counseling and Psychological Services

This Process Group meets on:

Tuesdays from 3-4:30 P.M.

Wednesdays from 1-2:30 P.M.

Thursdays from 1-2:30 P.M.

Fridays from 1-2:30 P.M.

Fear social interactions? Wonder how others experience you? Want to improve your listening and communication? Join a process group! Process groups are designed for students to have a safe space to share, connect, and interact with each other. Each group is facilitated by a mental health professional who helps students communicate in ways that lead to a better understanding of themselves and their peers.

USO groups provide a safe place for students to learn more effective interpersonal skills, to become more comfortable having personal conversations with others, to learn how to give and receive honest interpersonal feedback, and to learn how to establish trusting supportive relationships.

Please stop by the office for Counseling and Psychological Services or call 561-297-3540 to schedule an appointment to find the right support group for you!
