FAU CAPS: Support Groups-First Gen Success Check-In

Support Group hosted by FAU Counseling and Psychological Services

The First Gen Success Check-In Support Group meets on:

Tuesdays from 4:15 - 5:30 p.m.

This is a support group for those whose parents have not earned a 4-year degree from a College or University. If you are a first-generation college student, this group is a place to discuss concerns and difficult situations and get feedback encouragement and advice

Feel alone in your struggles? Misunderstood? Isolated? Join a support group! FAU CAPS's support groups are designed to provide students who share a similarity a safe space to connect and talk openly about their lives. Students who join support groups often learn they are not alone in their concerns, difficulties, or experiences. Each support group is facilitated by a mental health professional.

Please stop by the office for Counseling and Psychological Services or call 561-297-3540 to schedule an appointment to find the right support group for you!
