FAU CAPS: Support Groups-Students of Color Support

Support Group hosted by FAU Counseling and Psychological Services

The Students of Color Support Group meets on:

Thursdays from 1 - 2:30 p.m.

This is a support group for students of color where members discuss concerns or situations and receive and provide encouragement, feedback, and advice.

An added benefit is that this provides a safe space to discuss concerns related to being a person of color if they were to arise.

Feel alone in your struggles? Misunderstood? Isolated? Join a support group! FAU CAPS's support groups are designed to provide students who share a similarity a safe space to connect and talk openly about their lives. Students who join support groups often learn they are not alone in their concerns, difficulties, or experiences. Each support group is facilitated by a mental health professional.

Please stop by the office for Counseling and Psychological Services or call 561-297-3540 to schedule an appointment to find the right support group for you!
