FAU CAPS: Support Groups-Survivor Support Group

Support Group hosted by FAU Counseling and Psychological Services

The Survivor Support Group meets on:

Fridays from 2 - 3:30 p.m.

This is a group for students who have experienced trauma, such as sexual, physical, or emotional abuse. Whether the trauma occurred recently or in childhood, this group is intended to provide a safe and confidential space for students to receive support, connect with each other, and learn skills that help move them towards healing.

Feel alone in your struggles? Misunderstood? Isolated? Join a support group! FAU CAPS's support groups are designed to provide students who share a similarity a safe space to connect and talk openly about their lives. Students who join support groups often learn they are not alone in their concerns, difficulties, or experiences. Each support group is facilitated by a mental health professional.

Please stop by the office for Counseling and Psychological Services or call 561-297-3540 to schedule an appointment to find the right support group for you!
