Schaer is a Brooklyn-based interdisciplinary artist and educator who uses books, garments, photography, installation and collage to explore feminine, social and spiritual issues. Her works are included in numerous public collections such as the Yale University Art Gallery, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, and the Jaffe Collection at FAU. She has also exhibited throughout the world and has recently taught at Columbia College in Chicago, Illinois.  Brant is a Miami-based artist and educator who uses fibers, painting and performance, including urban farming activism, to embrace humor and the absurd in her politically-inspired works.
