DESCRIPTION:Interrupted Lives\n\nA virtual presentation by\n\nAmanda Friede
man\n\nAssociate Director of Education at the\n\nIllinois Holocaust Museum
  & Education Center\n\nDate: Thursday\, April 30\, 2026\n\n4:30 - 6:00 pm\
 n\nLocation TBD on FAU Boca Campus\n\nIn many respects\, Adele\, Barney\,
 Eric\, Ernie\, Frank\, Judy\, Magda\, Rodi\, and Ruth had little in common
. They were born in various European countries and hailed from different f
amily backgrounds. However\, they were all Jewish children who endured the
Holocaust\, each finding their own path to survival—whether by hiding a
mong non-Jews or enduring the atrocities of a concentration camp. Their re
markable resilience shines through as they share their childhood stories a
nd recount how they rebuilt their lives after World War II. Additionally\,
they reflect on the guiding principles that shaped them and express their
  hopes for the future.
