Ken Weitzman’s plays have been produced at, among others, The Humana Festival, The Denver Center, Indiana Repertory Theatre, and the Atlantic Theatre Company.  

Awards include The L. Arnold Weissberger Award, the Fratti/Newman Political Play Award, and South Coast Repertory’s Elizabeth George Commission for an Outstanding Emerging Playwright. 

Ken developed two previous plays with Theatre Lab – Halftime with Don and Spin Moves. Halftime with Don is currently in the midst of a National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere with NJ Repertory Company, Phoenix Theatre, and B Street Theatre.   

Ken is on faculty at Stony Brook University and previously taught at the University of California, San Diego, Emory University, and Indiana University.
