Kennedy, Jr. for a lecture and book signing on Friday, Nov. 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the University Theatre, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus. Tickets are $35 for the public, free for FAU students and $10 for FAU faculty, staff and alumni. Tickets can be purchased at https://bit.ly/2xIL7Je There will also be a meet and greet reception with Kennedy at 5 p.m. Tickets for the reception, lecture and a signed copy of “American Values: Lessons I Learned from My Family” are $100 and can be purchased by calling 561-297-2584. Proceeds from the event will benefit student scholarships in FAU’s Department of Political Science.
Kennedy is an American environmental attorney, author and activist. He serves as president of the board of Waterkeeper Alliance, a non-profit environmental group that he helped found in 1999. His books include “American Values, Lessons I Learned from My Father,” “Crimes Against Nature,” and “The Riverkeepers.” These books will be on sale at the event.
