http://cescos.fau.edu/observatory/observatory.htmlFAU’s Astronomical Observatory and Department of Physics will be hosting a community “sidewalk astronomy” viewing event of the partial solar eclipse. Experience the eclipse through telescopes and eclipse glasses to safely view the Sun and the Moon as they appear together in the sky. The Moon will partially block the view of the Sun during the three hour event. First contact will be at 11:59 a.m., maximal coverage at 1:28 p.m. and last contact will be 3:09 p.m.
Location: North lawn of the SE-43 building, Boca Raton campus.
Free parking in lot 4.
