In the winter of 2022-23, Caren Neile worked with Israelis and Palestinians in the West Bank, presenting storytelling workshops on behalf of the non-govenmental organization Roots/Shoreshim/Judor. This deeply moving, non-political adult storytelling performance, accompanied by a brief video, details the ways in which Neile tried, and sometimes failed, to listne to the Other in pursuit of peace, as well as to create a safe space for her program participants to do the same. The presentation is followed by audience talkback, giving listeners an opportunity to delve more deeply into the technique of storytelling for peace. Bring your heart, as well as your head.
